An Interdisciplinary International Master for the Understanding of Economic Interrelations among:

Public Finance, Financial Sector, Social Sector, Territorial Economics in a Scenario of Globalisation and New Economy.

AIMS:

This two years Master has the end to prepare high level economic specialists able to:

  • gather the opportunities of a globalised economic system

  • understand the meanings of economic fluctuations in a complex scenario;

  • forecast their future evolution in time, and as result to enable corrective tools according with targeting methodology (Pecora-Shinbrot's approach).

  • monitor economic variables behaviour using complex tools (chaos theory, neural network, fractal analysis, fuzzy sets, etc.)

  • analyse the economic phenomena using methodologies coming from scientific disciplines;

  • elaborate complex leading strategies for the public management 

  • suggest to the private management (big firms, associations of categories, etc.) decision strategies based on irreversibility, uncertainty and self-organization in economic phenomena. 

  • play a connection role for the application of the results of economic academic research by public and private sector.

ORGANIZATION:

For this interdisciplinary Master lasting two years it's foreseen:

  • Students and teachers mobility during these two years among Universities of Salerno, Barcellona and  Roskilde.

  • University of Salerno will provide acknowledgements about economic mathematics (micro and macro features) and, moreover, competence about complex applications in economics, statistic tools, non-parametric econometrician tools, and soft computing; University of Barcellona is specialized in neural network and fuzzy set applications; finally, University of Roskilde is specialized in globalization and technological innovation;.

       Didactic material and softwares will be supplied for the Open and Distance Learning (ODL). It will allow an ample and differentiated learning activity for people with handicaps, or for particular domestic reasons.
